What do we inspect?
A full inspection includes more than just looking everything over. We really dive into the details and inspect all the things that need regular check-ups.
ScheduleStructural
A thorough visual structural inspection of the all facets of the home; the foundation, rough framing and trusses will show any issues that need to be addressed.
Mechanical
A mechanical inspection includes inspecting all of the essential appliances in the home – Heating/cooling, plumbing, electrical, and gas. This part of the inspection includes anything that opens, closes, turns on or turns off. Most of these mechanical appliances have an expected life cycle and can and will fail or need repair. DHI also inspects roof, siding and all exterior products.
Safety
Safety is very important to Direct Home Inspections – regardless of the year the house was built, DHI inspect and make recommendations of equipment and other recommendations that could be done to improve the overall safety of the house.
Walkthrough
When buying or selling a house, Direct Home Inspections will do a walkthrough introducing the house to you or your buyer and make service recommendations. Furnace filters are something that are overlooked by many, We will show you and where to find the access for the filter. We will also show you the electrical water and gas shut offs.
